Eleven Injured in Bus Crash

On June 14th, A Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus crashed into a vehicle in South Los Angeles. Eleven people were injured in the crash, including a 25 year old mother and her three daughters. The 25 year old woman, who is pregnant, sustained mild injuries. Luckily, the accident caused no harm or injury to the unborn child.
Fire fighters used hydraulic equipment to free victims from the bus and the car it had hit. The driver of the car, a 30 year old woman, and he only passenger, remains in critical condition. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating who or what caused the accident.

Regardless who is to blame, the injured victims will no doubt receive compensation for their injuries. If the bus driver was at fault, victims’ medical bills, missed work earnings etc. will be paid by the city. If the driver of the other vehicle is at fault and found accountable, she will be responsible for compensating the victims. Luckily, there were no casualties in the crash.
