Heimanson & Wolf Resolves Cyclist Case With Mid-Six Figure Settlement

Our client is an experienced cyclist. One morning, while riding his bicycle in Los Angeles, he was struck by a truck driver who made a left turn directly in front of him. According to one witness, the truck driver continued to drive for another 20 to 30 feet after striking the cyclist. The truck driver was cited for failing to yield for the cyclist.

Our client lost consciousness after striking the truck. He sustained a facial laceration, a shoulder contusion, post-concussion syndrome, and abrasions and road rash on his legs and thighs. The cyclist’s laceration developed into a scar, and a plastic surgeon reported that he would need a scar revision in the future.
